KEVIN BLACK
 

 

Kevin Black is an actor and director of live and immersive/cinematic theatre. Over his four decade career, he has acted at theatres such as The New York Shakespeare Festival, The Shakespeare Theatre at the Folger, Primary Stages, The Pearl Theatre Company, Theatre for a New Audience, Pacific Repertory Theatre, Laguna Playhouse, Delaware Repertory, and Indiana Repertory.  He has appeared in short and independent feature films selected for Sundance, San Francisco International Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival, Provincetown International Film Festival, Mill Valley Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival. As a voice, speech and accent specialist, he has directed and performed vocal work for productions for HBO and Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He recently developed and directed an immersive adaptation of Hamlet and currently serves as Professor of Practice, at the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film and Television.
