Kevin's voice work can be heard in the forthcoming film A FEW THINGS ABOUT ROBERT IRWIN produced for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Art + Film Gala, honoring director Kathryn Bigelow and artist Robert Irwin and co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and Eva Chow. Recent vocal coaching includes directing all of the voice over for the HBO Documentary Film BRILLO BOX (3¢ OFF), an official selection of the 54th New York Film Festival now playing on HBO.
Kevin teaches acting at the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film and Television.
Kevin Black's work as an actor spans regional and New York theatre, and independent, short form and studio film. He has acted at theatres such as The New York Shakespeare Festival, The Shakespeare Theatre at the Folger, Primary Stages, The Pearl Theatre Company, Theatre for a New Audience, Laguna Playhouse, and Arizona Theatre Company. He has appeared in films selected for Sundance Film Festival, the San Francisco International Film Festival, the Seattle International Film Festival, and the Venice Film Festival.
